Los Alamos, CA - Laura Kath, of Mariah Marketing in Los Alamos, just returned from a 10-day excursion to the land of China on the Santa Barbara "Business Leaders" Tour. Laura is a Marketing adviser and consultant to a number of Santa Ynez Valley companies, including the Santa Ynez Valley Visitors Association.
Taking the radical "old fashioned" approach, Laura left behind the cell phone and email access and went incommunicado during this trip to a treasure trove of sites, including Tiananmen Square, Temple of Heaven, the Beijing Forbidden City SummerPalace, the Great Wall, Ming Tombs, and the city of Xian, in Shaanxi Province - the "Eternal City", then a tour of Shanghai.
After the trip, Laura has recovered with a 12-hour sleepfest. We're staying tuned for a more extensive excerpt from Laura's trip notes, and a more extensive photo gallery from the trip.
