Join others in the Santa Ynez Valley to enjoy Chocolate and Wine (yes! - a combination!) at High Meadow Ranch on Saturday, October 6.

This is a fundraiser for our troops in Iraq. Here's what this pays for:

Phone cards
Silly String (yes, ... see below)
Head Bands
Toiletries
Trail Mix
Beef Jerky

... and other stuff you'd think the Government would have covered. Well, here's an example: "Silly String" is a kid's toy that you squirt at a friend -- usually used at birthday parties. It turns out to be fantastic for identifying tripwire used for hidden explosives (bombs) used to kill our guys and gals. When not used in a combat situation, it's great for the personnel to just have a good time!

Col. Pat Sullivan (Ret. USAF from Vandenberg, who also owns the High Meadow Ranch Trakehner Horse Farm) and the SYVRWF ("Santa Ynez Valley Republican Womens Federation) is sponsoring this fundraiser for our troops in Iraq. Every dollar ("all proceeds") go to benefit the Troops in Iraq.
