SB County Fire/Road Closure Status

Solvang, CA - There have been a number of road closures that have taken effect since the Zaca Mesa fire started on July 4. Most importantly, the SR 154 was closed for several days as firefighters required exclusive access - but is now open. SR 154 is one of the main access paths to/from the Santa Ynez Valley from Santa Barbara.

As an alternative to SR 154, use Highway 101 exit at Hwy 246 in Buellton, traveling eastward to Solvang and Santa Ynez (about 3 and 5 miles, respectively).

Please note: town hall meetings are being planned by SB County Fire department in Santa Barbara (8/10 at 6PM) and Ojai (8/10 at 7PM). See their website for details.
