Pedalfest Solvang !

Solvang, CA - PedalFest 2007 is an official Amgen Tour of California professional road cycling race Pre-Event. It is a unique, stationary cycling fundraiser in which miles pedaled will earn matched dollars. For a five dollar minimum donation, individuals ride a stationary bike for five minutes. Union Bank of California, AEG and the Amgen Tour of California will each donate one dollar for every mile ridden that day to support Amgen's Breakaway from CancerTM initiative, which raises awareness and funds for cancer patients and their caregivers, benefiting The Wellness Community and the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship.

The event starts at Union Bank, 1714 Mission Drive (Highway 246); downtown Solvang, in Santa Barbara County Wine Country on Saturday, January 27, 2007 from 11:00am-2:00pm.

All ages and abilities are invited to help fight cancer with pedal power. Special guest professional rider will be cycling as well as local officials and dignitaries.

BONUSES: Free refreshments and gifts for every rider will be provided. Live remote broadcast from MIX 96.7FM. Plus, raffle tickets for $1 each to win an Amgen Tour of California jersey, t-shirt, hat and two VIP hospitality badges for the Stage 5. (Winner must be present at 1pm drawing.)
