SYV Tech Club MIXER !

Solvang, CA - The Santa Ynez Valley Technology Club will be hosting a free mixer at the Royal Scandinavian Inn's Meadows Restaurant, in Solvang on Tuestday October 17 from 6:30 to 9PM, with hors d'ouvres provided.

The feature speaker will be Kevin Mills, CEO for Demarc in Carpinteria. Kevin has a Harvard MBA, and has been a provessor at Westmont Collerga and UCSB. Mr. Mills is an internationally-known speaker on business and technology.

The topic of the speech will be on how communication within our society is rapidly changing in our personal lives and in the corporate world. Additionally, email, instant messaging, and text messaging are taking the place of face-to-face conversations. What is being lost by these changes?
