Santa Ynez, CA - The Santa Ynez Valley Historical Society and Carriage Museum proudly presents Viva Vaquero, the 24th annual Vaquero Show and Sale that celebrates California's earliest cowboy, the Vaquero. Starting November 7, 2008, noted artisans and collectors from western America will display and sell cowboy and western apparel, horse equipment and memorabilia.
A raffle for an elegant silver-trimmed bridal donated by Old Cowdogs fitted out with a silver show bit and mohair hand-braided mecate donated by California Classics will be awarded to the lucky ticket-holder. The preview reception with early purchasing privileges and a gala dinner kick off the exciting weekend event. All proceeds benefit the Historical Society.
